75% purity alcohol distillation to 100% purity alcohol by laboratory distillation & evaporation machine,how to purity alcohol by rotary evaporator?
1.Equipment: RE-52AA rotary evaporator + SHB-III vacuum pump + three tubes
2.Add 75% purity alcohol in evaporation flask of rotary evaporator,use tube connect SHB-III vacuum pump at the top of rotavapor's condenser.If you don't have professional cooling equipment,you could directly connect cold tap water with condenser to cooling.
3.Power on vacuum pump, guarantee vacuum degree is about at 0.09.
4.Power on rotary evaporator, turn on heating button,set water bath heating temperature according to distillation material boiling point.
5.Alcohol boilng point under vacuum condition is 39℃, so set rotary evaporator water bath heating temperature is 39℃, after water bath temperature reach 39℃, then will keep at this constant temperature.
6. 100 purity alcohol will be collected in rotary evaporator collection flask.
