The preparation of needle coke is a molecular distillation of asphalt as a raw material, and the product is collected as needle coke. The process of preparing needle coke involves the following steps in the given order:
1. Asphalt material is used as the raw material, the raw material is fed into the system, and the material is melted to obtain molten asphalt.
2. The degassed asphalt is then subjected to molecular distillation. The resulting fractions containing light and heavy components are separated. The light components are delayed-coked to produce green coke.
3. The green Coke is calcined. Needle coke is produced from calcined coke.
4. The needle coke product is then collected for further use.
