In the final stage of making CBD oil, distillation equipment is an indispensable device. Distillation equipment is divided into short path distillation and simple distillation. Today I will mainly talk about the difference between these two types of equipment.
The one-stop distillation process is shown in the figure below. Short path distillation and simple distillation are used in the fifth step（Distillation）.
For simple distillation equipment, the crude oil is first put into a vacuum flask and heated by an electric heating mantle. When heating oil, CBD evaporates from the rest of the plant and enters a freezing tube called a condenser. Here, the material condenses back to liquid distillate.
As for the short path molecular distillation device, the main evaporator is equipped with a built-in condenser, The separation effect is achieved according to the different molecular mean free paths of each component in the material. The condenser is close to the heated vessel wall. When the extracted material evaporates to the condenser, the wiper pushes it into the condenser, where it is converted back to liquid. The liquid collects at the bottom in the form of distillate.
