The Toption bio-oil Molecular Distillation comes from a desktop fluidized bed rapid pyrolysis reactor with a feed rate of 20kg/h. There was no obvious coking or polymerization during molecular distillation, and a maximum distillate yield of 85% was obtained. The influence of distillation temperature on the physical and chemical characteristics of each bio-oil fraction was studied. Statistical calculations show that molecular distillation is successful in separating bio-oil. A separation factor is proposed to reflect the ability of molecular distillation to separate the chemical substances contained in bio-oil.
